The hair

I haven't really given it a thought that my hair has become lighter (much closer to my natural reddish colour which you can see in many of the photos above) until my old classmates waved hi on the street saying "Sandra, we hardly saw you because your hair isn't black anymore!" and yesterday when I blogged about my new glasses there were pretty many people pointing out that my hair is different. I guess I've had too many other things on my mind than just my hair ;) Here is a collection of photos of how I've looked from 1999 until today.

It would be so much fun to see you blog something similar too!

  1. You are such a chameleon! I love all your hairstyles - they all add different components to how you look (does that make sense?). I did notice your different hair in the glasses post, but was so excited about the glasses that I guess I forgot to mention it!

  2. Fun post!

I think my post would be boring. My hair has been the same for years; long and never ever any color but my own.

  3. hi hi, that style you had on 2004 is stunning;)
pity i don´t have really photos from my wildest time in the 90´s when i had deep green hair with red stripes. oh those good old grungy days..eh.
from my newest hair style i actually posted a photo today on my blog.

oh i wish i would have even a bit natural reddish, but njäh. it´s more this finnish maantien harmaa (=grå som landsväg)

  4. It's funny seeing how different hair styles and change your face so dramatically. I think it's fun to try out different styles and colours as it's so easy to stay stuck with one thing. I wish I had your natural hair colour!

  5. i love this sandra! you are such a beauty. (i wish i had access to all my photos so i could show you :)

  6. Wow you look so different in each photo. I really want to cut my hair short but I've always had it long and cutting it scares me a little, which is kind of silly as I know it'd grow back before too long!

  7. all lovely but the 2001 pixie cut is extra beautiful!

  8. Vackersnippa! Jag tänker Limingoån på 2009, bild 2. Hahahah! Det absolut finaste med dig är din hy, inte en gnutta smink och len som porslin.

  19. Oooh, I LOVE your 2005 hair...and your new glasses. If I did this it would be ultra boring as I never change my hair (long, straight, brown, worn tied up) and I hardly ever get new glasses. :(

  20. Very fun. It is cool to see all your different hair colors.

  25. what is your really hair color ? black !? :)

and i like the 2005 hairdo ! and the latest !

  26. It's hard to choose a favourite hairstyle of yours. I love both the fair long curls and the thick black fringe...
Here is my attempt of something in that vein. Only the cut changes, not the colour.

  27. cool! one's look changes so much with the haircut and colour. you have really tried a lot of things; love it.

  28. 2003 and 2007 it's my favorite!!

  29. hahaha, you, ma'am, are awesome, you are great!)))))
my hair post would be a bit boring: 2004 - veeeery long curly hair -> than purple for a week -> than the same like your 2005 hair (left photo)
and than it grows and it grows and it grows
2009 -> veeery long curly hair -> to the same as your 1999 haircut (right photo) -> to absolutely boyish style (the only one i blogged about: http://seddensky.wordpress.com/2009/08/07/hair/ )
2010 i turned blond, and than cut my hair again, and now it's aaaalmost the same as the mentioned left 2005 photo, but bigger and a lot, a lot curlier :)

  30. uh, i love this posting! and i think the way your hair looks today is just wonderful. funny enough: while your hair is turning lighter, mine is growing darker. xx

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love your 1999 look! I used to have red hair and it turned gray prematurely.. I did not appreciate what I had until it was gone! I see you enjoy each different phase, each one is so unique.

  32. 2001 påminner mycket om Peggy Moffitt snyggt!!

  33. This post is so much fun! :-)
And I agree with the others, it's amazing how different you look when you change your glasses and hairstyle.
I haven't barely changed my hairstyle in the last 10 years, but I had a lot of fun trying vintage hairdos in www.yearbookyourself.com. The 60's suit me best!

  52. This post is quite old, now you're blonde and I'm commenting on it, yes :P
I could not believe it was you on every single picture! Amazing how many hair changes and different looks you've had! So versatile... I guess I could have never done these many changes on my hair. I went from braids to ponnytail, then to very short hair and then long. Had bangs for a few months, got tired of it and let it grow. But never had my hair dyed!

    (sorry, had to comment!)
