Post 200

This blog is soon 6 months old and this is my 200th post. Time flies, I remember sitting in my old studio in Gothenburg making it after my old blog had disappeared. Maybe I should make a few posts with some of my favourite pictures from the old one :) In January this blog had over 132 000 visitors, I can't believe it. Hi you all! I'm so curious of who you are.

One of us feels sick again and it's not me this time either. I'm one of those lucky persons who's not sick that often.

Ps. The thing in the last picture is vanilla yogurt with pieces of pear, granola and chocolate sauce.

  3. I've only just discovered your blog but it's already one of my favourites, although I admit to being just a teeny bit jealous of all your talents. 200 posts, quite a milestone after such a short time. Love your experiences of Berlin.

  4. 132000 visitors!! wish I knew your secret...I visit you regularly from England, the North West close to Manchester. I started to come as a ''can't get enough of anything Swedish'' thing as my brother lives there and I visit often and just adore your country. Now, because of you, I am falling in Love with Berlin too!! I would love to see some images from your old blog as I probably haven't seen any of those...

  15. Well... I am a 37-year-old Italian woman.
Living in the grey and fake city of Milan, in a tiny flat with my partner and our two lovely young cats. I Work for a marketing agency, a job which I cannot describe as my dream job, but that provides me what I need to pay my rent and all the expenses ;-)
I believe that I could easily be defined as the farest human being from creativity, art, imagination, fantasy, inspiration... I can't draw nor painting or taking nice photos...
Maybe for this reasons I so do love your blog! (As much as your previous one) Because is full of wonders, it greets my days and it gives me hope that, despite my age, maybe one day I could make a change. Thanks!

I found your previous blog at the beginning of last year. I remember that because, in April, you wrote in a post that you hoped none of your readers had been stranded by the Icelandic volcano, and I read that post in England, where I was stranded by the Icelandic volcano!

Hope Johan feels better. I don't get sick that often either and sometimes I feel nervous about it, like my immune system is getting cocky.

  38. I live in the Mitten State in the US. Maybe that is why I love fingerless gloves. I love how they look kind of edgy and show your nailpolish. Most of the time fingerless gloves are all one needs here, unless it gets really cold. I also love espresso makers and finally got one that looks just like your print. Now that you are in Berlin I am finding that fascinating because I have never been there but I know someone who is living there now. I would not be as brave as you to fix up an apartment like that, but it seems you can do anything. 8D

  44. Hello Sandra, I've been a quiet follower for a little over two years now. I'm an art teacher and sculptor in Portland, OR, in the US, and I have shown your illustrations to my students when we talk about the element of shape.

My sister also teaches, but younger kids, and when she got her first teaching job I gave her your numbers poster for her classroom.

Your sense of adventure in daily life and your commitment to art keeps me coming back nearly every day. So happy to see you find such success!

  80. Hi Sandra, congratulations!
I don't remember how I found your old blog, but it was in late 2009, I think. I am 34 years old, studied at Karolinska in Stockholm in 2002 - 2003 and really like most things "nordic", they remind me of that time. I am living in Berlin, so when you started posting Berlin pics, it was really cool to see home and many things I see in my everydays life through your eyes. I saw you on the street around the ACNE store last summer and also thought I had seen you at Galao (across the street of Café Fleury), I commented on that back then. With my husband and almost two year old son I live on Choriner Str.
Many of your pics are taken around here, one place I haven't seen is Kantine on Joachimstraße 11, you might like it for having lunch.
