Balcony days begin

Balcony days begin.
First balcony lunch was smoked mackerel with salad and the evening's balcony session provided with a photoshoot on the other side of the street (last picture). Other than that, Johan has been sick all weekend and his grandmother sent us some cookies (all the way from Sweden) which Johan and I enjoyed during an SATC-marathon.

This week has been both good and bad. I prefer good and have decided to forgive myself for any bad things that happened and it taught me not to wait for someone else's forgiveness. Time for a new week. I can't wait. Life is short.

Ps. My huge scarf (pic 2) from the Scarf shop isn't just keeping me warm, it has been working as a curtain lately as well :)

  5. Love that last photo. And I relate to what you said about forgiveness. I have to remind myself of those things sometimes as well.

Hope Johan feels better! Cookies usually do the trick for me.

  11. Can't beat a sex and the city-a-thon...

Ryan might disagree with me (he's more a Project Runway and America's next top model kinda guy) - but I know I'm right ;)

    Roll on next week. Yes.

    Well, Roll on Tuesday... xo

  14. You're brave, Sandra, or maybe just Swedish :). I can't imagine myself being able to have dinner on the balcony in Berlin other than two weeks in July (if it's at least 25C). But then again, I'm Italian! Now I'm in England and definitely still keeping the heating on!

  17. I've been following your blog for so long now without ever leaving any comments. I love your posts merely about your daily life in Gothenburg and now Berlin. It's like I've gotten to know you without ever meeting you (despite it now seeming sort of creepy :p ) You and Johan seem to be such content and interesting people and I'd like to thank you for simply being a constant presence in my life :)
