About the "new" things

I remember in February 2006, I discovered flickr. I started up an account and got totally addicted. It took quite a while before the fall-in-love-phase was over and ever since then I have been longing for the same experience. A few weeks ago I discovered Instagram - an iphone app that has got me totally hooked. At first I was sceptic about the filters (to be honest, I thought it was so tacky, you know I almost never edit my photos ;)), but the Earlybird filter appeals to me in a special way and I think it suits my aestetics pretty well. I convinced my friend Famapa to start posting there too and now she's as hooked. It's like a twitter for pictures and if you don't like the filters you can skip them :) The more pictures the merrier!

Happy weekend :)

  2. I like Instagram photos too but I can't make them since I don't have an iphone. :/
I remember how I discovered flickr and was totally addicted too... even now, 4 years later I can someday quickly spend too many hours there... :)
    Have a nice weekend!*

  3. Happy weekend...a friend blogger Emilia from the blog Provins uses it a lot too...I like it...I don't have an iphone...so I won't be using it...just admiring others.
It's fun to get excited over a new app...I was like that with Pinterest! Now I'm just so busy...I shouldn't really be reading blogs...but a girl has to drink Tea ...right?

  12. Me too! I love the Instagram app - and I use it way too often. And only with the Earlybird filter, of course! This filter just adds something special to every photo, even the most ordinary ones. But I remove the frame i photoshop, as I want to make the pictures more "mine".

I have similar looking photos of my food, of stairs, and of old people from behind :)

I feel so at home in your blog!

  16. I feel so stupid, but I just cannot figure out how to "follow" you on Instagram or even how to view your photos there (unless you tweet them).

Can you link to your Instagram account? I don't understand!

(I'm sure my confusion is due to my not owning an iPhone!)

  17. I first heard if insta.gram a couple of months ago from some twitter friends, and I am loving it, too! It's true - there are some lame filters, but I love the earlybird and also the nashville. I'll have to click over and follow you.

  19. Dear Sandra,
I admire your blog for 3 years and I am a big fan of your photos. I loved their filterfree nature. You have it all! I have to admit, since you started to use all these tricks with photos, I find myself not as often to visit your blog as i used to. Good luck with apartment! And I will be always here waiting for your brilliant filter and apps free photos to return :)! Wishing you all the best!

  20. Ketli > well, what can i say that this post didn't say? i'm having FUN :) and my instagram pictures are just a supplement to the rest of my pictures. i've been posting photos from my mobile phone before but no one noticed and as it is right now i don't have a body who wants to carry around a heavy camera.

i hope my readers appreciate that i post these pictures instead of no pictures at all at the moment.
