Paint work

This is what happens when you disconnect from the internet and from socializing - all of a sudden there's a hallway's walls and floor being painted. Next up is to cover a whole room of Rauhfaser wallpaper with putty and get a plain surface.

  6. I love the floor colour!

I found I was so much more productive for a while after I ditched my tv....then I found the internet.

    Hours pass so quickly!

  7. I use this trick of 'unplugging' myself from the internet completely at least for 1 day each week and it's amazing how much work gets done on that day :)
Love the floors, can wait to see what else you're going to do with your place.

  9. That looks so much brighter and interesting now! There is nothing like a bit of paint work to make an incredible change. We should change notes...I am in the process of renovating a house and, oh! where to start!

  10. you cover the rauhfaser? thats new to me ... why don't you just remove it?

  11. rike > i tried to remove it, but the wallpapers underneath (many layers) made it very difficult. it took me over 90 minutes to remove 1 sqm of it (with such a bad result that i would have to putty anyway), so cover it with putty is much faster.
