August 9, 2008 I tried to dye my hair back to my natural colour after years of almost black.
August 9, 2009 I had breakfast at my parents-in-law.
August 9, 2010 I visited Adolf's house probably for the last time.
August 9, 2011 is today and I'm working. What are you doing?
Today I went for a long walk, though I got caught in heavy rain on the way home. So now I am drying my clothes and editing videos.

I am sitting in my room, which is finally bright after a lot of grey days, writing and thinking about London and wanting to help make things better in a substantial way. Feeling a little overwhelmed by witnessing it.

ReplyDeleteToday's morning I was working at home and now I´m visiting my favorites blogs in the net ;)
I would like to go for a walk but it's still so hot that I gave up and I avoid to go to the beach during this month, because there are too much people in there.
I've had a friend over for lunch and I've just finished cutting and preparing fabrics so I can start sewing new purses. Right now I'm off to embroider some more, while watching movies. I love these kinds of days.

This morning I went to work, I took the afternoon off to wander around town. I Bought a movie (O'Horten) which I'm going to watch later tonight and did some grocery shopping. At home I took a nap, made dinner and looked for books by Norwegian authors to read in prep of my trip to Bergen in the autumn :-)

It has been quite a normal day for me. Went to work, eat the leftover cous-cous from last night for lunch. Walked home in the sunshine. I am watching the news and feeling so sad for London.

i managed some boring stuff about my car papers and insurance. Outside I was almost melting with such hot weather here... but i'm also doing nice things at home: managing space to have my friends "chez-moi" for some days!!! youpi!
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm looking at places to live in Toronto together with my boyfriend. We are going there tomorrow and staying till January – so exited! I also wrote an email to a very nice design agency about internship, and they wrote me back almost instantly and we are going to have a talk next week.

And when I was driving my car earlier in the day they played Happy birthday with Stevie Wonder on the radio - it was just a coincidence I listened to just that radio channel just that moment - and it really made me smile :).
