ReplyDeleteMine is San Francisco. But then again, I haven't seen all the cities out there yet :)
ReplyDeleteBerlin buildings look pretty. I've been there once.. but over ten years ago now.
It looks wonderful in Berlin. I am going to try and visit it for the first time next year...inspired by your images!! My favourite city however is my home capital of London, closely followed by Oslo and Stockholm.
ReplyDeletemoving from berlin to göteborg- a little weird.
ReplyDeletei think i would give up the coastline and even the sea air for a walk through schöneberg anytime.
Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI live in Berlin too. And I really like it. Before I lived in Rome, Stockholm and London. All of them very beautiful cities. Very. And in a very different way. But my favourite city is Buenos Aires.
I like Paris because it's beautiful city with a lot of possibilities and a big spirit but I love Prague - little town of colours and secrets.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I live next to Paris now I miss Prague (my home) very much but I can't imagine give up the capitale of France.
I have two favorite cities: London and Vancouver. I've lived in both, they are very different but each beautiful and interesting in their own rights. Berlin is a close 3rd, if I were ever to move back to Germany I would love to live there, too! Love seeing it through your eyes and gorgeous photos :)
ReplyDeleteI also live in my favorite city: Paris! Followed by Lisbon, Berlin and Buenos Aires - would love to live there too one day :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the building with random balconies!
ReplyDeleteMy two favorite cities in the world (my world) are London and Berlin :)
Barcelona, Granada, Cadiz. All in Spain.
ReplyDeleteI am still looking for my favourite city. I always knew Toronto wouldn't be it, but I did try. J & I are planning to move in the spring, and one of the cities we're thinking of is one I like very much. I hope we can live there and I hope it's as great as I think it is!
ReplyDeleteHowever, for visiting, I like London and Calgary.
These are lovely buildings. Thank you for posting the photos.
ReplyDeleteI love London and Old Town Alexandria in Maryland, U.S.A. These cities are full of stoic-looking brick architecture that I adore.
But now I want to visit Berlin. I hope to make the trip before we leave Europe.
I love two very different cities: Lisbon and Tucson (AZ).
ReplyDeletevad lustigt! jag gjorde nästan precis ett sådant här inlägg igår! fast min motsvarighet.

My heart is in Norge!
ReplyDeleteI really love Oslo, but I would really love to visit Bergen also! :D
I love Paris, where I live, as much as I hate it sometimes!
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, I really enjoy the way of live in Portland OR.
Barcelona! (i live in Viana, Portugal)

Such a hard question. London is my favorite city in Europe. Paris is the most beautiful. Stockholm and Lisbon are the most underrated.
ReplyDeleteBut my absolute favorite? It's always New York. Yesterday, today and tomorrow. So happy it's my home :-)
I live in Denmark (Aarhus) but I'm totally in love with Berlin!

ReplyDeleteBerlin Buildings
When I lived in Spain. I went to Oporto (Porto), Portugal as often as I could. Now I am living in Oporto.
I live close to Boston and I really love it. My favorite city to visit is Amsterdam. I think I could live there
ReplyDeleteI'm from Vancouver [a place which I am quite fond of] but I really do love Berlin and Munich.. I think I could see myself living in either of those places for a while. I'm living in the Netherlands [Delft] now for school.. but we'll see where I end up after :)
ReplyDeleteI have lived in Halifax, NS, Canada for 17 years but I don't really like it very much. I do like some of the aspects of living in a smaller city though. I grew up in Toronto and lived in Montreal for a long time. I don't have a favorite city really although I like Boston quite a lot. I haven't been to Europe in a long time, I like London and Paris a lot, I have never been to Germany and haven't been to Spain in over 30 years.
ReplyDeleteIf you are talking big cities, I think Montreal feels more like home (I also lived shortly in Sydney, Brussels and Douala). Montreal is not the most stunning place but it has got great atmosphere and good food!
ReplyDeleteYour city looks beautiful, I would love to visit one day.
Looks great! Moving there in two weeks. Maybe. It's probably time to get a flight ticket or something. And perhaps a place to close eyes in.
ReplyDeleteLos Angeles has always been one of my favorites. I lived there for a long time. I miss Pacific ocean a lot. Next stop - Chicago, a lovely city with beautiful architecture.
ReplyDeletefreiburg and portland
ReplyDeleteI love Berlin too, but my top1 is Paris. Berlin is number 2 and Lisbon number 3.
ReplyDeleteHamburg where I made a part of my studies, Marseille where I've been living and meeting my husband, and Brussels is a good place where I plan to live later. I am actually fascinated by La Valette, I'm sure it would be a great place to be an old lady, Tbilissi makes me curious, and I am very curious too of far far Sydney too…
ReplyDeletehelsinki!
ReplyDeletei like so many. Berlin, Basel, Paris and Lisbon. but also i liked it very much in Phenom Phenh and Saigon.
ReplyDeleteand ok, Helsinki is also ok.. ;)
oh, and let´s not forget Istanbul. that´s a really great city to visit. i could also live there for some time.
ReplyDeleteeach city is beautiful if you live beautiful experiences in. and the feeling is very personal. I lived in some different cities, in different countries but now I feel really good in my home town Plovdiv ( Bulgaria). Come visit it, it is very ancient and has a beautiful soul :-)
ReplyDeletePrague, Barcelona and Dublin. I live in Bratislava, it' s nice too. I love your Berlin photos, I have been there few times, but I have never saw the beauty, you can see!
ReplyDeleteTokyo Japan all the way! (although i live in Philadelphia, USA)
ReplyDeleteVienna is a Great City to live in and visit, I also love bogota, hamburg and Rome!
ReplyDeleteI live in Thessaloniki, Greece and I used to live in Amsterdam, so Amsterdam is still a favourite city. But I would also love to live in Paris.
ReplyDeleteThis is a tough one! Lisbon for its incredible light, history and amazing buildings (I'm biased, 'cause I live really close to the city and go there very often), and London for its energy, intense creativity and also great architecure.
ReplyDeleteOk, and I can't forget Barcelona!
Hamburg meine Perle :-)
ReplyDeleteI also love Shanghai and would love to live in London.
I moved from Berlin to Goteborg! It can be done. :)
ReplyDeleteI live in Bergen, Norway.
ReplyDeleteBut if I could grow old in Copenhagen, it would be amazing!
I grew up in the Puget Sound area, and Seattle remains my favorite city!
ReplyDeleteI´m from Brazil but I´ve already lived in Italy awhile, so my favorite city ir Turin(Torino), coz it´s a beautiful city and has a lot of meaning to my life.
ReplyDeleteBut I also LOVE Paris!
vienna
ReplyDeleteberlin
san sebastian (donostia)
budapest
ReplyDeletei have only been there once, but the city charmed me completely.
from its layered architecture (churches than became mosques that became churches again) to its majestic baths, i fell a little bit in love. however, i think budapest protects itself from having huge crowds move there with its impossible language.
With a complete eye, my favorites are Buenos Aire and Montreal. But I'm living in Montpellier FR where I'm having so much fun, so it's probably the best place for my present life. And I'm sure I'm going to fall in love with Berlin and Marseille. But I have to know them better. Love cities, for ever and ever...
ReplyDeleteI suppose my favorite cities are San Francisco, London, and Sydney or Melbourne. San Francisco is nearby and probably one of the most purely beautiful and singular cities in the US (the light and air are completely different from any other place in the world). London is amazing and ancient and endlessly fascinating, as are its residents. And the two great east coast cities of Australia are full of beautiful places and people in entirely different ways: Sydney is modern and gorgeous (as are its people), and Melbourne is traditional, calm and sophisticated. Ah, I wish I could visit all of them right now!
ReplyDeleteMy hometown is Amsterdam and I still like it here a lot. Other favorites are Gent (Belgium), Sevilla and Madrid (Spain) and I recently visited Sarajevo (Bosnia) which actually surprised me very much: surrounded by beautiful hills, it's a city full of contrasts, grey communist flatbuildings but also a very old Ottoman area and of course a lot of buildings that are still damaged by the war. Very friendly people over there, really worth a visit!
ReplyDeleteBologna
ReplyDeleteBerlin
Ghent
and sometimes Montreal, where I live
Hi!
ReplyDeleteLisbon, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Melbourne and Sydney. Hong Kong and New York to visit. :)
Love Berlin too! :)

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite cities would have to be NY, Barcelona, Paris and New Orleans. I am from México but I have lived in BCN and pretty close to New Orleans to visit it all the time... Now I wanna live in NYC. I've never been in Berlin but it is on my top list to visit!
Your blog is really beautiful, thanks for sharing :)
