Let me take you for a walk

Before moving to Berlin Johan and I had only visited in Winter, therefor Winter in Berlin will probably always be very special for me. I love how thick the air is, how grey it is, the naked trees, the smell of burning coal, the Glühwein.

Now I need some hot tea.

  7. Even though I'm always complaining about my very cold feet, I also love Winter, especially the foggy days.

  10. I love the shot of the colorful flower mural dissolving into the fog...such a Summery-looking mural on a grey day. It looks like a magic secret, like there could be a nice story behind it.

  11. Danke shoen for this nice walk on Berlin streets.
    It looks so different from our winter in Tokyo, with dry air, blue sky and bright light.
    Actually I kind of miss cold and humid winters, a good excuse for hot tea and gluehwein ;-)

  13. That is beautiful. The whole thing. I LOVE the bike photo and the last one. Nothing is quite as wonderful as misty air in fall/winter scenery. You have amazing neighbourhoods to walk through! I think I will have to take a wander through my own new neighbourhood and see if there's anything interesting.

    @Irene
    Habe neulich gerade gelernt dass das Platanen sind. :) Die Kugeln finde ich auch Klasse. Hingen bei meiner Mutter als Deko rum.

    Habt alle einen schönen Tag. :)

  24. Kylie > but it's kind of true :) many people who come here react on this and call it a ghost town etc. berlin is 9x larger than paris in its size and it's just a 3rd of the population.
