Another country

GDR as a country lived for 41 years. These buildings (except the Bibliothek one) were built in the 1950's, the early years of GDR. I can not get tired of looking at them.

  3. But when you live in an ex-communistic country (in my case Romania), you really get sick and tired of that type of architecture and you long for something less geometrical, less tall, more pretty and colourful :)

  5. i love to live in a city that values it's history. (whether good or bad.) i live in a city that is constantly tearing down old buildings only to be replaced by shitty high rises. they are gaudy and cold and have no life.
