Pictures from the other morning when I took a walk with Johan before work, we had coffee at Café Neun and admired the blossoms. The view from Oberbaumbrücke has changed so much since we moved here.

Last week I asked my followers on Instagram what they are currently reading. I'm just about to finish the 1Q84 series (by Haruki Murakami). What are you blog readers currently reading? Great way to recommend eachother some good reads :)

Monster Paw

Untitled
I bought some eucalyptus during the weekend and found this thing which I call monster paw.

Untitled
My sister was here as a surprise for Johan's birthday and she gave him lilies. On my balcony I found a twig which had fallen from a sycamore tree.

How have you been? I have been super busy and didn't take many pictures with my "blog camera" this month. Will do a summary from march with pictures taken with my phone's camera soon :) See you!

White anemones came knocking on my door

Untitled
Today I received an amazing gift.

Untitled
Look at this bouquet!

Untitled
It's like as if Ruby had been reading my mind.

Untitled
White anemones are my favourite flowers at this time of year and yesterday I was out looking for some in several flower shops.

Untitled
I decided to put the flowers in two different vases.

Untitled
What a great mix together, don't you think?

Untitled
And a handwritten letter. Thank you so much Ruby of Mary Lennox Flowers. You made my day! Welcome to Berlin :)

I planned to spend my Sunday here:

But ended up taking a long walk and spending time with friends the whole day instead - great!

Ps. There is a new pair of Wrist Worms available in the shop now; merino bordeaux :)

Hydrangea, Roses & Eucalyptus

Brought these flowers home from the farmers market on a Saturday in October. Do I have to mention how amazing the flat smelled from the eucalyptus?

Glad to be back to blogging. November has turned out to become a very busy month, in the best ways possible, and I look forward to bringing my camera out for adventures soon :)

A quick lunch recipe

A lunch I'm making pretty often (picture 1), you need:

1 red pepper
1/2-1 zucchini depending on the size
some green asparagus
(fry the vegetables in olive oil, add salt, pepper and spicy sauce if you have some)

Fry 1 egg.

Mix cottage cheese with as much dijon mustard as you like + some salt & pepper.
Top everything with coriander/cilantro.
Eat!

(Bottom picture shows food made by Johan and he's always making much more complicated marinades and stuff than I do, so I don't know what's in there, but you can see mushrooms, apple, zucchini, pepper, tomatoes and onion)

Flowers & P*nises

Finally I took time to make some buttcrack characters, they will be available in the shop tomorrow! Saturday's market ended with lots of vegetables and flowers to bring home. It was a good weekend spent with dear friends and also time for some reading.

Around the house

Someone asked me about my favourite flowers and these pictures show two of them; roses and ranunculus.

Yesterday:

This weekend was so much about eating and walking. Spent the whole Saturday going around the city and yesterday was stay-close-to-home-day with breakfast at a café, lunch & fika at home, dinner & drinks with friends.

Now it's time to dig in to work the rest of the week, I have 2 years of bookkeeping to take care of. When that is done I am going to spend time with some of my favourite human beings, yippie! Happy Monday!

A quiet day at home

Party five nights in a row, I need a rest ;)
Looking forward to Xmas and some days to spend at home with Johan. Home has been neglected for months now.

Back home in Berlin

Being home means taking care of the tomatoes on the balcony. When we were away our friend was babysitting them and did a great job.

Being home means going to the food market on Saturdays and bring home flowers.

Being home means to sit and read at the dining table.

Being home means you can buy 4 bouquets of flowers for the same price as you pay for 1 rose in Sweden.

Being home means you can take a picture of the great really old American glasses Johan thrifted in Sweden. Would look great as sunglasses!

Being home means admiring a necklace you got as a gift from your husband.

Being home means it's time to go to the photo shop and develop 2 rolls of film containing pictures of Sweden. I develop my films at FotoWerk.

Being away made me come back to my home and appreciate it more than ever.
