Gallery brunch

Yesterday I was invited for brunch at COGalleries in Mitte.


Stood up and walked the 5 kilometers on an empty stomach, so I hit the food immediately.

Such a great idea to brunch in a gallery!

Johan joined me, I love going to new places and meeting new people together with him.


Thanks COGalleries for inviting us! The space is located on Torstrasse and has a good atmosphere.

Summer is back in Berlin, I'm waiting for the temperatures to rise above 20°C and then I will go out and see people smiling again. Need that dose before it's 6 months of grumpy faces and people screaming mean things at strangers on the street. We all go mental in this city, for sure. Not complaining, a bit of mental is also good ;)

Friday around town

Hello, cat neighbour!


So new and fresh.


Took the party tram up to Prenzlauer Berg to have lunch with Johan and Mark.


We ended up at a ramen place.


It was very tasty, most of all very beautiful. Taste wise I had yummier :)


Since we were not far away from Mark's bar, Badfish, we decided to have dessert there.


The guys were having Guinness, I had ginger beer.


Can't get over how pretty all leaves are now.


Said bye bye to Mark and started walking down to Mitte.


Passed by this gorgeous poser, s/he was like Oh! You're taking a picture of me?! and gave me the largest smile.


Got hungry again and shared a chicken döner with Johan.

My favourite tree is now blossoming.


The scent is one of my all time favourites. Reminds me so much of the beginning of summer holidays (they blossom much later where I grew up).


This dog was so cute and grumpy, gave him the name Sven, the bouncer.

Commonground Opening Party

My friends James & Morgan (Silo) have opened a new café/bar in Mitte, Commonground. Last night was the opening party and I had the pleasure of sipping on the amazing Made in Cuba Welcome Drink and some beers surrounded by good friends. Not only do they serve great drinks - they open early in the morning serving delicious breakfast and also cups of amazing coffee, continuing until late night. I'm moving in.
