Midsommar Festival

Yesterday Nordic by Nature organized a Nordic Midsummer Festival at Urban Spree (they also made an interview with me recently, you can read it here). Of course we were there to enjoy the atmosphere and good food.


We started with the Caramelized kimchi with cheese from Fräulein Kimchi, so tasty.




Then straight over to House of the Flying Dumplings.

Patric has been away for some months working on Dachau // Prozesse so we had a lot of catching up to do.


And the obligatory phallus, the maypole, was the last thing my camera caught before it was completely dark outside. What a great night!

Lunch at Skalitzer Strasse

One of the best things about Summer is having lunch outdoors, the other day I met Johan for lunch at Phohoi where we had glassnoodle salad. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and I already look forward to my next visit.

Those morning walks are the ones that keep me going for the rest of the day. The other day I took the same walk twice, for breakfast and for lunch.

June 17, 2006: Sitting in the Gothenburg harbour with Johan watching the action on the river.


June 17, 2007: A kitchen floor full of buttcrack dolls.

June 17, 2009: Sofa with my creations. I've been doing this for so many years now!


June 17, 2010: Having a friend over for dinner, pasta with chanterelles and moose if I remember correctly.


June 17, 2011: First summer living in Berlin. Johan and I love sparkling wine.


June 17, 2012: Working and eating strawberries, seems to be what I do most of the month June.


June 17, 2013: Last year I worked on my 6th blanket. Currently I'm working on the 8th. It will be available later this Summer!


June 17, 2014: Breakfast this morning; a flat white for me and an espresso macchiato for Johan + strawberries.
