Last week we visited Johan's grandparents. Started with a typical fika :)

They live in the wilderness; wolves, boars and moose visiting regularly.

Swedish Food Stories, 1

Arriving at Johan's parents, we were all hanging out in the kitchen the whole night and feasting on a chicken casserole accompanied by an amazing côtes du rhône.

A couple of hours in Stockholm

The day before Johan and I went to Sweden, his mother texted me Sandra, do you want to have lunch in Stockholm?. Of course! We went straight from the airport to Söder and took a short walk until we found a place we thought looked nice - Urban Deli. I had steak tartar, Johan had a shrimp roll, Johan's mum had crab and his dad went for thai chicken. Yum.

I saw nature

Spent a few days in Sweden. Both Johan and I had a shock when we stepped out of the car and smelled the forest. It was so intense that I almost started to cry. Ate some blueberries, we walked around in Johan's grandfather's forest to feed the moose with a block of salt. Hadn't been there for SIX years, it won't be that long until next time for sure. Have been eating such amazing food, will show you later. So long!
