September 1, 2005-2016

September 1, 2005: This happened two days before we decided to be two individuals trying to spend life together.


September 1, 2006: Out for one of my walks around Gothenburg, taking a picture of my favourite door.


September 1, 2007: Just a random picture of the antlers.


September 1, 2008: Johan took this picture of me on a walk home from meeting some friends. A few days later I cut my hair short.


September 1, 2009: Gothenburg's party area.


September 1, 2010: Working at home, planning a big move.

September 1, 2014: Saying bye for the day after some coffee. Time to work.


September 1, 2015: Last year I took the day off and spent the day in a park with friends getting drunk.


September 1, 2016: And today I finished making these socks which I started making in February.

Summer 2016

Time to share a bit of this and that from the summer, went quickly to the beer festival and tried some really good beers.


Was hanging out a lot with friends. It's always the same; I plan to spend a lot of time alone and end up spending most of my time with friends. I plan to stay home and relax and end up clubbing all night. Will I be the same when I'm 80 years old?


Spent many hours working with the We Are Knitters yarns, was such a great collaboration - I hope we do it again soon!


A window that makes me smile.


Some days life has felt like this.


Most of my days life felt more like this though, yay!


The afternoon light in my kitchen is intense.


Slowly walking down the streets during the heatwave.


And drinking so much water.

I(t) started in 1991

In 1991 I started listening to Kraftwerk and Pet Shop Boys, two bands which led me to techno. This album introduced me to the wonderful world of electronic music. In 1991 I also started studying German and started making plans to move here, plans made by a 13 year old though.


Johan and our friend Ben drinking beer in the afternoon. In 1991 me and my friends started organizing discos which we called rave parties.


In 1991 I spent much of my time at home listening to music and writing in my journals, sometimes 15-20 pages a day. For christmas I got my stereo with vinyl player, cd player and cassette player of which I'm still using the amplifier, it is one of the most wonderful gift I ever got.


This dog was carrying a book on his way to the bar, then he lied down completely chilled. A rat passed by, stayed in front of the dog and stared, before it ran away. The dog couldn't care less. In 1991 I was as obsessed with dogs as I am now.


In 1991 I planned to be a translator or teacher in German. I dreamed of being an artist of some sort, but around me this didn't exist as a reality and everyone told me I had to study like an idiot and "become something important" which for them didn't mean working in art. I'm so glad I eventually didn't listen to them (after studying 7 languages...).


In 1991 I was dancing like crazy at our parties and at around 16 years of age I thought I was too old to do this. I became a serious and boring person with an inner monster who wanted to get out. This monster didn't get out until I was by number much older than 13. One thing you learn by getting older, is that you're never really getting old unless you choose to.


I think the Sandra of 1991 would be very happy of where I am today.
