Started the day at the laundromat. Johan went through his subway tickets.

When I came home and uploaded the pictures to my computer, I saw a colour theme in the pictures. Reminded me of one of my all time favourite blogs, Liivia is so good at combining colours in her pictures.

What's your plan for the weekend?
I will cut Johan's hair, make a simple version of this and on Sunday Johan will buy me a Guinness. Why? It will be 12 years ago that I fell in love with him, on a night in a pub in Gothenburg where he bought me... a Guinness. Ever since then, we always have Guinness on February 5.

Hello, Lichtenberg!

I saw a lot of beauty in Lichtenberg last Sunday. Was a great day, taking a long walk with Johan, drinking a beer, walking to a bar to meet a friend.

Now it's Friday and I'm gonna figure out what to do with the rest of my life. Just one of those small things you have to do on a Friday morning the first week of February 2017.

My colourful neighbourhood

Random pictures from Friday when I enjoyed the sun.
I have no words to describe how much I look forward to Spring, to take long walks without layers and layers of clothes on. Have almost forgotten what green leaves look like. I guess many of you know what I'm talking about.

The ceiling at the entrance, I wish I had it in my bathroom.


Some small details are still left from when the house was built in 1900. Imagine it survived two world wars.

The candelabra Johan made at university has made a come-back in our bedroom.






When I grew up we only smelled this amazing flower (hyacinth) around Christmas, Swedish style.


A very simple soup made of stuff from the fridge, broth, lots of chili flakes and cream. Swedish crackers with cream cheese and smoked roe spread.
