Colourful lunch

Untitled

Untitled

I made a mango salsa for lunch - a super simple, quick and so delicious side with meat patties, or sausages, or falafel for example (I made my patties of minced meat, salt, pepper, egg, dijon mustard, chili flakes, onion and a bit of heavy cream).

MANGO SALSA
2 fresh or frozen mango
1 red onion
Coriander/Cilantro (as much as you like)
Fresh chili or chili flakes (as much as you like)
Salt (as much as you like)
A pinch of black pepper
1 small teaspoon olive oil

Slice everything into pieces, put in a bowl and mix carefully with a spoon.

March 3, 1999-2017

Untitled
Time for a "recap". This is:
March 3, 1999: My sister in her newly painted toilet & I was crocheting something big.

Untitled
March 3, 2000: I was taking pictures for a website I was making for mobile services. Made my first logotype, it's still in use. This was when I still lived in Luleå.

Untitled
March 3, 2001: I had moved to Gothenburg, looked like this and went to Marstrand.

Untitled
March 3, 2002: Was doing an evening course in graphic design at Forsbergs Skola where I learned more during 2 nights a week for 1.5 years than I did at HDK for 5 years. This is from walking to the tram, in the middle of Gothenburg.

Untitled
March 3, 2003: Had moved to a new central flat, roaming around the attic.

Untitled
March 3, 2004: Applying for HDK, which led me to a completely new life. One of the topics was suicide.

Untitled
March 3, 2005: My kitchen in Gothenburg and the first sandwich cake I made with Johan, when we were still "just" friends :)

Untitled
March 3, 2006: And BAM I moved to my own flat with the red kitchen. Johan is drinking tea, trying to explain something to me.

Untitled
March 3, 2007: I had just cut Johan's hair. He looks so young! From the flat we lived in together for many years in Gothenburg, on 34 squaremeters, omg.

Untitled
March 3, 2008: We went to Luleå to visit my family and play in the snow.

Untitled
March 3, 2009: Seafood in the kitchen!

Untitled
March 3, 2010: I had a studio for a year in Gothenburg, before moving to Berlin. Painted the toilet door in this amazing colour.

Untitled
March 3, 2011: Now we were living in Berlin. On this particular day we walked from Ostkreuz to Westkreuz.

Untitled
March 3, 2012: This day we walked around in Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf and had some German food at Kastanie.

Untitled
March 3, 2013: Seems like this day was a walking day at the beginning of our Berlin career ;) This is somewhere in Kreuzberg or Neukölln, I think.

Untitled
March 3, 2014: A tour around Mitte with Johan, eating pizza at Clärchens Ballhaus.

Untitled
March 3, 2015: I met up Johan in Prenzlauer Berg where he was working at the time and took a walk back to Friedrichshain to have some coffee.

Untitled
March 3, 2016: A morning meeting with Johan when we decided to try a pretty new spot for breakfast. Wasn't very good, you know when the food tastes of the cutting board. The place is closed now.

Untitled
March 3, 2017: Woke up to sun and will go to my friend's restaurant to take pictures of food in a few hours.

For the beauty of it

Untitled

Untitled

Just because the colours are so good.

There's a storm outside.
I'm inside hiding, listening to someone's not so good drum playing skills right above my head.

Searching for something.

Visitors who also love good food

Untitled
Johan's parents came to town and I met up with them at the airport and then we went straight to Santa Cantina for lunch. Margaritas included. Off to the supermarket to buy cream, they were re-branding and the shelves were pretty empty.

Untitled
Cream for SEMLA! My favourite pastry in the world. Day-time drinking made us all sleepy and when Johan came home from work we had a bottle of bubbles and these sugar bombs, which made us all awake again.

Untitled
Late night dinner, so good.

Untitled
After sleeping in on Friday, we started the day with burgers at Gotham Imbiss.

Untitled
And then off to my friends' bar. I had a hot cocoa and the other ones had bourbon and absinthe.

Untitled
OK, so guys, let's cross the city and go to Stone Brewers! Johan yelled. And so we went. And tried 16 different beers.

Untitled
You could get the beers as 15cl, thank you very much.

Untitled
Hello lovely people! (Look at Johan's shirt, we found it in a second hand shop in Sweden this xmas and both screamed IT'S MINE)

Untitled
Some small things to eat with the beer.

Untitled
The place is beautiful and because it's new and clean it felt like we had left Berlin and been traveling to Sweden.

Untitled
Bye Stone Brewers. After this we took a taxi to Gotham Imbiss and had chicken wings hanging out with a lot of friends.

Untitled
On Saturday we met up for a car ride to Xberg where we had pizza.

Untitled
I'm trying to remember what we did after the pizza, but...? Oh, yes! We went to Frischeparadies to look at delicious stuff and then off to friends' different bars to hang out with friends. Hunger stroke again and I was in the mood for broth and ended up having a vegan very healthy dumpling soup, which I had to pay for the day after ;) Was so hangover hungry that I didn't manage to snap a picture of my breakfast before it was in my belly, muaha. Had it at my darling Roland's place Cozys ;)

Untitled
On our last evening we went to Mitte for some hot pot, such a social way of eating together.

Untitled
Monday morning and we had breakfast at Silo before saying farewell. Well, before the farewell Johan's parents and I were hanging out on a park bench in the sun cuddling with dogs. And boom, Spring arrived!

Had such a great time as you can see.
And, now what? I have no idea.
