Today as I was out walking I stumbled upon a new shop in my neighbourhood, Herr Nilsson Godis - a shop with Swedish pick & mix candy which I've been missing quite a lot. Happily surprised I went straight into the shop and started choosing which candy to buy while I was talking to the girl who worked there. And I talked a lot which hardly ever happens with a stranger, who offers me candy ;)
If you live in New York you can find Swedish pick & mix candy at Sockerbit.
Oh I love, love, love cheez doodles!!! Every time I visit my brother in Vasteras I bring home masses of them!!!
ReplyDeletekaren > i totally understand you! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a lovely shop! I have to buy some candy for my mum there. She'll love it!
ReplyDeletethose pick n mix look so pretty! I work for a Swedish company in London and sometimes my work friends bring back Dumle and Kexchoklad! Yum!
ReplyDeleteSandra, I had read about Sockerbit (a lot of bloggers raved about it) when they opened and completely forgot about them when I went to NY in May. On my last evening in the city, I stumbled across their shop and felt like I hit the jackpot! I was so thrilled to find Swedish candy. It's the best!

ReplyDeleteThat candy looks great. And so funny, I hadn't heard of Sockerbit before but literally walked by it and noticed it for the first time today (before having seen this post). I was tempted to stop in, but I was also really hungry and on my way to lunch so I didn't. Next time I'm in that neighborhood I will have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteoh it looks so nice! i'd buy something just to get that pretty paperbag. ;)
ReplyDeleteGilla! Trots att jag egentligen inte är så stort fan av smågodis längre. Men man måste bara älska namnet på affären.
