i would say the scent of cinnamon and some particular movies i used to watch as a child during christmas time ...But for a "true" decoration ,i'd say flashing lights . I like your christmas tree !
mmm lovely smell of hyacinths!! for me lots of little lights, snow flakes shape, red berries from the woods and something made by hand by me for the occasion:-) nicephotos sandra!
I always get a wreath from the Farmer's Market made out of rosemary. Edible, fragrant & delicious! But when I get nostalgic about childhood x-mas I think of the smell of snow filled air, pine and the smell of burnt matches.
Optisch und vom Geruch her sowieso.
I wish I could have hyacinths and other scented flowers for Christmas, but I'm a bit allergic so I'll have to settle for ornaments and lots of candles. This post already made me feel like Christmas, even though it's really dark and raining here in Finland at the moment! :)
(I love your photos, Sandra, but for some reason it takes ages to load them on the screen. Are they in a very large format? Or maybe there's just something wrong with my computer... Anyway, I will still be back to visit. At least on the weekends, when I have more time for waiting.)
