Before moving to Berlin Johan and I had only visited in Winter, therefor Winter in Berlin will probably always be very special for me. I love how thick the air is, how grey it is, the naked trees, the smell of burning coal, the Glühwein.
Now I need some hot tea.
I love Hanna's Winter Cards

ReplyDeleteWonderful photo's.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful foggy pictures...and thak you for this way around Berlin!

wow, you captured the fog beautifully and made me really homesick, although i'm not even from berlin, haha.
ReplyDeleteI love Berlin winter too, thanks for the foggy walk. And this city really has the best buildings.
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm always complaining about my very cold feet, I also love Winter, especially the foggy days.
ReplyDeleteThe city seems so quiet in these photos! Really beautiful, I hope to visit Berlin one day.
ReplyDeleteI love the shot of the colorful flower mural dissolving into the fog...such a Summery-looking mural on a grey day. It looks like a magic secret, like there could be a nice story behind it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the fog.
ReplyDeleteDanke shoen for this nice walk on Berlin streets.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so different from our winter in Tokyo, with dry air, blue sky and bright light.
Actually I kind of miss cold and humid winters, a good excuse for hot tea and gluehwein ;-)
These photographs are simply gorgeous Sandra. I love winter light and what it does to the world.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. The whole thing. I LOVE the bike photo and the last one. Nothing is quite as wonderful as misty air in fall/winter scenery. You have amazing neighbourhoods to walk through! I think I will have to take a wander through my own new neighbourhood and see if there's anything interesting.

ReplyDeleteSandra, I LOVE THIS post, everything about it. I would frame the image with the wall and the bike. Its so so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images. I wish I could take that walk (for real) with you.

All those greys with the little touches of colours are beautiful Sandra. When I think of Berlin, this is how I see it!
ReplyDeleteI really love the picture of the bike and tiled wall. It looks cold where you are, brr...
ReplyDeletethis is my favorite set EVER!! The color against the fog- the light of it, is delicious. thank you.
ReplyDeleteI know it's silly but I have this picture in my mind of Berlin as an empty city because of your photos! ;) I love them by the way. Thanks :) Kx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely walk - makes me miss Berlin....
ReplyDeletexoxo
Kylie > but it's kind of true :) many people who come here react on this and call it a ghost town etc. berlin is 9x larger than paris in its size and it's just a 3rd of the population.
ReplyDeletelove going walks with you, such awesome photos :)
ReplyDeleteStunning photos.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as always! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. Do you sell your pictures?
