    what kind of cake is that in the last photo? It looks a bit like tiramisu but I wasn't sure.

    the flower boxes, with the flowers on the gray building reminds me of a children's book I love. (It must be at my mum's house- little saturated red and blue shoes on a mousey family) Sorry to hear the mocha cake was tasteless. It would have been sketchy either way: too sweet would have been over the top too. Nice pics as usual.

    We are considering moving to a flat in West Berlin (to a house that looks very much like in that third photo, on a street that looks very much like the second...so I'm curious where you took them?!)
