I spent xmas in Luleå, north Sweden, with my family. It couldn't have been a more beautiful time. -27°C and snow snow snow.

We had saffron
semla.

Norrbotten, the region where I was born and grew up. Breakfast at my sister's place, with cured Arctic char. Oh my!

Woke up to this winter wonderland on Christmas Eve. In the night I went outside to see if I could see some northern lights. Oh yes!!! Crappy iphone pictures, my camera battery has almost given up on life, but hopefully I'll get a new one soon :)

Kebab pizza, the most popular pizza in Sweden.

I spent a lot of BAD time living in Luleå ;) Johan, my sister & my mother posing in front of the place where I used to go swimming.

For those of you who love the movie
Let the right one in I can tell you, that this is the swimming pool from that film. Most parts of the film are made in Luleå, in my old school for example. I had nightmares of growing up after watching it.

Had a day of fun with my dad and his lovely lady.

Winter hair and my nieces on their way to the mountains to go skiing.

Klara! My favourite lady :) Johan's breakfast on a late Sunday afternoon, reindeer tartar (I had a
toast skagen).

Bye bye winter wonderland!
Thank you all for making the week so special; family and friends! I came home to Berlin feeling pretty empty, everyone I love (except for Johan, phew!) live so far away. I'm happy to have so much love in my life. Hope to go back visit soon :)
